The Winery<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

Papakonstantinou<\/span><\/h1>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”white” align=”align_left” border_width=”3″][vc_column_text]\u0391\u03c1\u03c7\u03b9\u03ba\u03ae<\/a><\/span><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”middle”][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”50″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]With respect for the\u00a0vineyard<\/strong>\u00a0and its soil and vines, with a\u00a0passion for wine<\/strong>\u00a0and the goal of getting better every year, our\u00a0family founded<\/strong>\u00a0the\u00a0Papakonstantinou winery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The estate is located in Arma-Tanagra Municipality, just 65 km from Athens.<\/p>\n

Our winery, from its first appearance in 1986<\/strong>\u00a0to the present day, continues to set the\u00a0quality bar<\/strong>\u00a0very\u00a0high, creating grape<\/strong>\u00a0varieties\u00a0Assyrtiko, Roditis<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Savatiano<\/strong>\u00a0in whites, and\u00a0Syrah, Grenache Rouge<\/strong>\u00a0in reds and ros\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Since\u00a01995<\/strong>, the\u00a0organic cultivation<\/strong>\u00a0of the vineyards began and in\u00a01998<\/strong>\u00a0we had the first production of the first bottled wines.<\/p>\n

Since\u00a02006<\/strong>, the winery has taken on a new form with new\u00a0modern methods<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0winemaking and bottling<\/strong>. After a difficult but successful course of\u00a0organic wines<\/strong>\u00a0in Greece and abroad, in 2010 the\u00a0biodynamic cultivation<\/strong>\u00a0of the estate began. After two years of systematic\u00a0biodynamic cultivation<\/strong>, the\u00a0Papakonstantinou estate<\/strong>\u00a0is the first winery in Greece to receive Demeter certification in both cultivation and winemaking from Demeter International.<\/p>\n

Every year we take part in international exhibitions of organic products such as Biofach in Nuremberg, Germany.<\/p>\n
